Ron Paul 2012? Are the stars finally in alignment:
So everyone knows that the focus of this blog is on the Republican / Libertarian minded ideas of freedom and limited government. And from my previous entries it is easy to tell them I am a long time and strong Ron Paul supporter. I know there has been a lot of confusion going on lately such as when I explained what was going on with his campaign not spending more money in upcoming primaries. There has been a large amount of ups and downs and at times people have become doubtful of what the outcome of the race will be. I’m here to tell you the facts which simply put is that I cannot see the future or truly predict what is going on and yes the big money is all against him. However this does not make it impossible for our man to win.
The truth is that we’re closer to getting a truly freedom, limited government, anti unneeded wars, president in office than we have ever been in the last fifty years now. This is not only because of the changes happening in the Republican party http://www.politicalfreedomblog.com/republican/change-of-the-republican-party-and-american-politics/ as I mentioned in my post but also because here right now Ron Paul is getting ever closer to a true shot at winning the nomination.
Now the mainstream media have been saying that with Mitt Romney having won the majority of votes in Texas that he has secured the nomination which is a total lie as explained by Benn Swann http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ju4Vyny2BN4&feature=youtu.be
Long story short is that most of the delegates in Texas will be awarded out at local district conventions just like every other state. So really almost none of the delegates in Texas have been given out yet. As listed at http://thereal2012delegatecount.com/
Mitt has far less than the number of delegates he needs to win the nomination and this number is expected to fluctuate more as the local level voting continues. We need to remember that it’s at these local level voting for counties where Ron Paul has made huge wins such as in Louisianian. On top of this there is news from actual lawyers for the Ron Paul campaign that yes indeed many or all delegates may truly be unbound: http://runronpaul.com/election/ron-paul-lawyers-confirm-all-delegates-are-unbound/
Which means they can vote for Ron Paul in the first ballot even if they are technically Mitt Romney delegates. So what does this all mean? Truthfully I don’t know and no one does. None of us know what will happen for sure until the convention in Tampa, Florida. What I do know is that Ron Paul has been raking in a lot more delegates at local voting conventions than anyone expected and is expecting to walk away with a majority of delegates in over ten states. These local voting contests are still ongoing and that realistically even a lot of Mitt delegates are likely to be Ron Paul supporters who will vote for him instead.
So the best thing you can do is not give up because Mitt has not won and we’re far from being out of the race yet. So spread the word, spread the news, tell your friends, family, co-workers, strangers, everyone about Ron Paul, now.
Network with your local groups and submit your voter affidavit http://www.dailypaul.com/228436/all-ct-de-ny-pa-ri-voters-prove-your-votes-through-the-brand-new-website-wwwronpaulvotecountorg as proof that you voted for Ron Paul and have everyone you know do it. While the big money might be against him our man has yet to lose and a lot of voting is still ongoing. So until the convention where a winner is decided don’t give up. We’re closer now then even now is a very real chance and the starts might just be in alignment for the Ron Paul 2012 campaign to gain victory.
